Bright Star is a delightful, little-known musical by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. "Bright Star: Vocal Selections" contains all the main numbers from the show, with the accompaniment music arranged for piano. Much of this music is simple and melodic, perfectly suited for high school voices, if you are a teacher looking for new sheet music for your students. Or if you're like me, a person who loves this show and just wants to have the music for it on hand, just for the heck of it.
